Had a great time!!! I went here several times as a kid 20 years ago and thought it was awesome. I recently went as an adult to see what it is like now. I was hoping my memory of it wasn't clouded by nostalgia, and it wasn't! This place is still so awesome even for adults! We had a group of 11 and did the Magellan for a 2.5 hour mission. It was such an intense and fun experience that our group can't stop talking about. Our flight director was incredible, as well as the rest of the staff. This place is awesome for adults as well as kids. The mission was challenging but so fun. It is also a really good price for such a high production value. I'm just wondering how soon is too soon to go back!
Every year I have gone here with my class, it has been an amazing experience for all of the kids. The staff is experienced and knowledgeable. The students leave with with a lot of great information and a renewed excitement of space!
I've been hearing about this place for years as various kids have gone for school field trips but this was the first time I've experienced it.
The simulation was entertaining and engaging—challenging enough that we had to take it seriously and active enough that I was shocked to realize we had been doing it for 2 hours. (Some are longer and maybe some are shorter, but the one we did was 2 hours.)
Each role has it's own unique responsibilities so that nobody could simply coast if the group was to be successful. It was awesome to see people figure out how to work together effectively to get tasks done and seeing people engage with ideas when trying to figure out problems and solutions in the simulation. (Our group was mostly teens and pre-teens.)
The staff were enthusiastic and attentive. They brought energy from start to finish and encouraged us to have fun and really own the experience.
As we left everyone in the group was saying "we need to do this again!"
Went to the laser show tonight. It was such a fun night. The kids loved it and it was very entertaining. I have also done missions here and they are a blast. Being a Trekkie, it makes for a very imaginative adventure as a Star Fleet officer.
I've only been to the planetarium so far. It was really fun! I just wish there were more exhibits and such to wander through. We will be back to watch the two other shows that they offer, for sure!
My daughter did an all day officer camp and loved it! The facilities are awesome and the staff is really friendly. Jason showed us some neat things he was working on in the Planetarium. Overall an amazing place!
Saved the Galaxy and blew up some ships, all thanks to the best engineer ever! Our guide Nolan was great and really helped ramp up the tension. We’ll definitely be coming back soon :D
This place was a blast when I was a child. Things have changed quite a bit since then. I enjoyed taking my kids there now. The planetarium space show was great. I would highly recommend visiting
